Hyperpigmentati - acne, hyperpigmentati

Well, I got what I wanted from this product, but I'm not sure that its description would have lead me to believe that was what I would get. Buyer beware, this is not a light, tingley, toner type treatment! It's an intense acid peel that seemed to target my "problem" areas very effectively. I applied the solution all over and as directed, it burned like some of the acid peel treatments I'd had before and the problem areas where I had tough or thickened skin turned white. I applied moisturizer as directed, which helped with the burning, and went to bed. In the morning those areas had darkened considerably (not very attractive) and were all shriveled and wrinkled looking. These areas were a bit tender to the touch, but nothing horrible. By the next day there was a bit of cracking and lifting of this thick wrinkly skin. I was careful not to peel these and over the next day or so, gently removed the skin that seemed to come off easily, leaving the skin that didn't. By the third day most of the larger dark areas had come off and by the fourth day pretty much all of it was off, revealing lovely fresh skin underneath. Over the next week or two there was additional slight peeling, but nothing that some good moisturizer couldn't fix. Overall I was stoked with the results, but quite surprised by the intensity of this treatment at full strength. It hasn't helped much with the acne issues so far, but did seem to make any areas with blackheads look much better. The next time I use it, I will cut it with the alcohol that the directions suggested as an option. Probably by one half or maybe less, but certainly won't use it full strength again unless I have 3-4 days to be out of the public eye. Of course next time I use it, there will be much less bad skin to remove, so maybe the reaction won't be as severe. As I said, I used it all over my face and the intense peeling only seemed to happen on my nose and chin where the most blackheads and thickened skin were... Overall, I'm thrilled with this product, I just think the labeling and description was a bit benign for such a strong treatment. Acne Treatment with Salicylic and Lactic Acid. Great for body and bikini line also!

I bought this product to help with the chest acne that i get (yuck!) and yes I am a women. I too thought that it would be just a toner/astringent ...wow.. was i surprised. After my shower, I swabbed some thru my chest area and boy did it "burn". My heart started to beat so fast..I couldn't even lay down to sleep, then i took a cold towel and just wiped the area. The next morning my chest area was very dark brown(yuck) it looked worse than when I started. This product seems to act as a peel rather than a toner/astringent. It is now day 3 and that area skin is still dark, tight and shiny. I am now applying organic natural cocoa butter to the area twice a day. Hopefully it will BE o.k.

Will update.

I just washed the area and i can see some skin peeling however, the area is still very dark. I emailed the seller through amazon requesting a refund. This product works like a PEEL, and it WILL cause your skin to turn dark and peel, but your skin will stay dark. no where in the product information does the seller indicate that this product would peel your skin. PLEASE BEWARE THIS WILL ACT LIKE A PEEL ON YOUR SKIN...BUYER BEWARE.

This stuff is better than any astringent I've ever been able to find in the drugstore. Get ready for it to burn, though. If you can't handle it for long periods of time, try using a Q-tip to apply it only on the actual zits.

This definitely isn't your regular toner. It burns. But it works. It seems almost like a very mild peel. Used along with a bi-weekly alpha-beta peel, it's done wonders for my oily, cystic acne-prone skin.

I was very tired of shaving and razors so I wanted to try something different; a hair removal cream. It left me with red, bumpy underarms which turned really really dark after a while {I'm dark-skinned}. It was so embarrassing to think a product would burn that badly and leave such a disgusting sight. I was very skeptical when I bought this, so I applied a lot on my cotton ball and scrubbed really hard under my armpits. Boy was that a wrong move. It stung like hell my whole face was red! But two days later, the bumps dried up, and left some dark spots which peeled off after 2 more uses. After building tolerance to this stuff I use it three times a week now to exfoliate my underarms {deodorants aren't my best friends}. I haven't built enough confidence to use this on my entire face, so I only apply to spots haha! - Hyperpigmentati - Scars - Acne'

This review is from: Kodak Easyshare D825 8-Inch Digital FrameThis digital frame is great. I particularly like that you can use any 8x10 frame you want with it. I replaced the pretty wood frame that came with it with an antique looking one. Frame is very user friendly. I like that you can just take a portable usb drive and just put it in the frame and immediately start viewing pictures or take the card right from your camera and insert without having to download the pictures. That way you can just use cheap usb drives for each group of pictures and change at will instead of putting hundreds of pictures onto the frame. I like this frame so well that I just ordered 2 more as Christmas presents....

This review is from: Kodak Easyshare D825 8-Inch Digital FrameI bought this for family a member and immediately tried to upload a lot of old pictures that I had previously already resized down to less than 800x600. The operating system of this frame is so incredibly slow that you never know if it is actually copying the files or is just frozen. Even after rebooting without the new photos and trying everything again, it just sits there with an hour-glass logo for 8 hrs +I am returning this piece of junk. I see by other reviewers that Kodak has been marketing worthless crap lately. I tried using their on-line support, and it is another worthless maze of non-helpful Q-A that eventually leads in a circle, no matter which route you try to navigate through....

This review is from: Kodak Easyshare D825 8-Inch Digital FrameI received this frame as a gift loaded with family pics. It is so easy to set up and use--no need to read an hour of instructions! The picture quality is excellent. I also was thrilled that you could also insert a thumb USB drive since my computer doesn't use memory cards. One drawback that others mentioned--the frame support is useless. It doesn't snap in and stands at a very awkward angle allowing for it to continually fall out. I solved this by going to my local craft store and getting a pretty scrolled iron easel for $7.50 that I place it on. I subsequently bought this frame from Amazon to send to another family member where I loaded a thumb drive with pics. They didn't have much experience with computers and I was able to set this up for them to just plug in and play when they received it in the mail. Its working beautifully....

This review is from: Canon EOS 60D 18 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-Inch LCD and 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS UD Standard Zoom LensMy concern is when people pick up this DSLR in the store and handle it and then handle the D3100, they will automatically assume the D3100 is a better DSLR simply on the body construction alone. The plastic body feels (and is) cheap. And that, unfortunatley, will be hard to overcome for a lot of people. No textured grip is an unfortunate omission. At the entry-level, you don't expect full weather-sealing or magnesium alloy body but most others (Pentax K-x, Nikon D3100) at least are constructed of somewhat better materials and have a textured hand grip. The one plus side to the glossy-plastic body is that it makes the DSLR very lightweight. In fact, it probably is the lightest DSLR I've shot with. The controls are pretty straight-forward on this camera. And I always like Canon's menu system, very intuitive. It has plenty of auto controls for newbie photographers but of course has a full manual suite of controls so it's perfect for students or folks in general who want to learn photography and want a camera they can grow with. In terms of the performance, this DSLR impressed me. Overall operation is very quick, shot-to-shot times are decent, and the autofocus is very fast. I have worked the with D3100 as well... and can safely say that the Rebel T3 outperforms it on almost all fronts (I'm sure I'll catch hell from the Nikon folks for that). The viewfinder is 95% coverage and isn't the greatest but I found it to be satisfactory. And despite the relatively low screen resolution of 230k, I found the screen somewhat viewable in direct sunlight and better than the one on the D3100. Again, it's not wonderful, but not as bad as some I've seen (the worst was the Pentax K-x). They've also upgraded the AF system from 7 points on the Rebel XS to 9 points. One move that was very smart on Canon's part was to keep the megapixel count at a modest 12 megapixels. And interestingly enough, it seems to work better with the supplied kit lens than some of the higher-end siblings. The combination of the kit lens and the 12 MP sensor leads to some very impressive image quality (especially if you bump up the sharpness a little bit in the camera settings) - and this camera will happily shoot with Canon's low-end lenses with some very decent results. One complaint I do have is, because of the light-weight plastic construction of the body, it tends to be out of balance with the longer, heavier lenses. I noticed this when I attached the EF-S 55-250 lens on it. It may not be a dealbreaker for everybody, but some people might find this irritating. Colors are very punchy but not to the point of over-saturation. I won't confidently say it's better than D3100 for image quality, but it at least matches it. And for the most part you can get clean images from this DSLR up to ISO 1600, which is impressive. As far as the movie mode goes, it's only 1280x720 HD but actually the video quality is excellent. However, the manual controls are very limited. If you're equal parts into photos and movies, I would consider the Rebel T3i or 60d over this one though, as those have far more extensive manual controls for video shooting. So overall, if you're able to overlook the rather cheap plastic construction, this is a very formidable entry-level DSLR that is suitable for both newbie photographers, and even pros looking for a light-weight companion to their regular gear.

This review is from: Canon EOS 60D 18 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 3.0-Inch LCD and 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS UD Standard Zoom LensFor the price of the camera, you wouldn't really expect much. However, that is completely false. For the small price, this camera really packs a big punch. It was a no-brainer for me to choose Canon for my first DSLR. Every single camera I've ever owned is a Canon, and I've never been disappointed. This camera is great for the beginner photographer, and even for the more advanced photographer. It's a breeze to learn how to work all of it's functions and most importantly, it delivers such amazing quality photos. The kit comes with a 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 image stabilization lens. Even with a moderately wide aperture, the lens performs exceptionally well under low-light situations. I will eventually grow out of this lens, but for now it's doing well for me. I feel like as I grow in my photography, this camera will grow with me and last me years to come. One of my goals is to become a freelance photographer. I have many many years before I get to that ...
