I complained and they tried to convince me that the more expensive lens in the package would not work with the camera, which was a lie. I sent the lenses back to be replaced with what I ordered with the package. They sent the two lenses advertised, however they were sent without the original packaging or documentation... probably refurbished. The rest of the package is just a bunch of junk. The additional zoom lenses are cheap and do not work with the advertised lenses, the filters do not fit either of the two lenses, the tripod(s) are too flimsy for the D700, the memory card advertised does not work with the D700, the remote shutter was not shipped with the package, the batteries are cheap replacements instead of Nikons and will not last for much more than just over a hundred photos. With a 15% restocking fee it is not worth sending back, but hopefully purchasers in the market for a D700 will read my review before choosing Sunset Electronics or this rip off package. Buy the camera & lenses separate from someone else.

This review is from: Canon EOS Rebel T2i Digital SLR Camera Body & EF-S 18-55mm IS Lens (Black) with Tamron 70-300mm Lens + 32GB Card + Battery + Canon 2400 DSLR Gadget Bag Case + HDMI Cable + Filters Kitunlike some reviewers, i have actually seen and held this camera. while i only took 3 pictures, simply loading them and having a look is shocking. this camera and the underlying X3 chip blow away everything in digital photography today. getting all three colors (rather than one like all other digital cameras) in each pixel gives you images you can easily enlarge without loss and artifacts. this camera easily blows away cameras costing many times more.this isn't a true 3 MP camera. it is more like a 9 MP. but better.... there is no longer a reason to not go digital.getting 3 colors per pixel means no interpolation. that in turn means sharper, truer color, photos without artifacts. in short, digital photos without the digital look. some of the photos taken with this camera are as good as medium format film images.digital is not as good as film, it is now better.

Specifically one of the battery doors is poorly made (I broke it after inserting the batteries :-( )But after shooting pictures almost continuously over the holidays, I have to say that the Sony 717 doesn't compare.Lance

Awesome Speakers - speakers, yamaha


I've wanted to install outdoor speakers on the deck of my house, and after purchasing a pair elsewhere which I returned because of poor quality, I selected these, primarily based on reviews which had been submitted. Thanks everyone.



I installed these speakers yesterday and spent an evening on the deck listing to beautiful music coming from these speakers. They are excellent, sound is perfectly balanced between them, and I'm very satisfied.



They were easy to install and the packaging was very well done. Yamaha NS-AW150 2-Way Indoor/Outdoor Speakers (Pair, Black)

I own a restaurant and needed to get rid of my music provider and replace the sound system. They had big Bose speakers hanging in the ceiling. I replaced them with these. The Yamaha sound is ten times better then their Bose speakers. I bought them new with the free shipping. These are one of the best set of speakers for the sound. Bass is even there. I will be buying these for my rear speakers for my home theater as they will do the job. I'm glad I read the reviews and made this purchase. Can't go wrong for the price.

Easy to install, just needed a ladder and a cordless drill/screwdriver. A Wire stripper is also reccomneded for your speaker wires. Comes with mounting bracket. I put these under the eaves of our front porch, partly protected from the elements. We've had some good storms in the last 3 weeks and these are nice and strudy. They even come with an extra safety wire, reccomended to use in case the speakers ever come loose.



Sound is fantastic. I have these hooked up to an old cheap receiver and still great. Highly reccomended I will probably order another pair for our deck out back.

I return a pair of wireless speakers and bought these instead. I am very happy with the sound and the simplicty of operation (compared to wireless). I have them on my screened porch for music and NPR. Running the wires was not easy, but it was worth it.

I purchased these speakers for an outdoor theater I was setting up for the kids, they sound great! I have purchased more expensive speakers with far less sound quality than these. Definately worth the 75 bucks!

These speakers are great. We just enlarged our screened in porch and mounted the two speakers on the two corners of the porch. Mounting them was a breeze (according to my husband) and the sound is fantastic. For the price, you can't beat these speakers. We also installed an on/off/volume switch on the wall and can now listen to the house stereo and TV as low or as loud as we like.

For the price these speakers are absolutely great. I used 2 of them for a 10x25 concrete patio. Mounted each one on the inside patio corners of the house (I had to mount via vinyl siding/wood so you will need some extra mounted stuff - I just used a thin piece of wood to place behind the vinyl, so it would not buldge in, and some larger screws to anchor thru that into the wood along side the house - the speakers are not heavy). I angled the speakers facing towards the center of the patio, and they sound INCREDIBLE. We stream HD music out there and it sounds like a live concert. The 5" create outstanding bass. The image is extremely noisy, and that affects very badly the ability of the codecs to encode the video efficiently. In other words, If you can't afford to get a slightly better camera, I guess it's ok. If you can, buy something a more expensive.

Cross Cut Shredder - paper shredder, shredder


Having read over some of the comments and ratings on this average size paper shredder, I haven't encountered the problems others have. The shredder activates easily once paper is introduced and I've not had a problem having to adjust how the paper was introduced to the activation mechanism. It's the perfect size for my small home office and the right color (black).



You know those pesky credit card offers that come to you through the mail all the time? Don't even bother opening them. They're not too thick for the shredding capacity and it'll save you time by only having to introduce one piece instead of multiples if you cut open the envelope.



Credit cards whip through it without hesitation. And the basket size is just right (I empty mine about every 10 days now).

This is the first shredder that has not broke or jammed up on me within 2 weeks of purchase. Shred per instructions and this will do the job. It holds a lot more than it looks too. Easy lightweight basket to empty. Not as loud as previous ones I have owned. I am very happy with my purchase. I compared prices before purchasing too.

I personally love this shredder! It does what it is supposed to do... shreds into small pieces. This is a crosscut shredder, not a confetti. I was moving and needed to get a lot of old mail (boxes worth) shredded before my move date. This little machine more than delivered on its' promise.



Do not overload the slot... 8 sheets is the limit and that is true. I try to keep it under that. It loves to groan along when you stuff too much in there. The shredding mechanism is very sharp and have nicked my fingers a couple of times when removing a jam. Does it jam often? NO... but it does happen. The reverse/unjam feature is a MUST! It does shred credit cards, paper clips and staples as it advertises. Again, it makes a very loud noise but accomplishes the feat. If you just have a normal mail load, you could probably go a month without changing the bin. I find it convenient to just keep on smooshing down the shreds. If you do not, your machine will jam!



Highly recommend the machine; do not know the longevity as of now. Does what it needs to do at a wonderful price.



One caveat... the darn thing tips too easily because the mechanism is on the top. In my home, that is a pain with 3 kids and 2 dogs running around. Shavings everywhere!! It also states in the manual that you should not shred labels or stamps of any kind. I have done it and it is functioning fine.

Following product guidelines I NEVER inserted more than 4/5 pieces of paper at a time or even used it beyond twenty minutes and even used the proper shredder oil/paper and having now become somewhat of an expert on throw away shredders - This is no better than the rest and an absolute horror at the dreaded paper jam. Confetti shredders have a tendency to bulk and plug making it tedious work to un-jam. This was the worst of the bunch I've own lately.

Its only saving grace was when it did work (which was for about six weeks give or take) it worked well. That being said, six weeks isn't worth it.

Granted I have been doing quite a bit of shredding - still with proper use and not overuse as initally described it should have been able to handle the work load.

I love this thing- it takes 8 sheets of paper extremely well, shreds everything down to 1/4" by 1" or so, even takes credit cards. The little window on the front helps you know when the bin is getting full, so you dont have to spend time removing the lid to find out.

This shredder started acting up after only 3 months. You have insert the paper in just the right position to get the shredded to take it. It jams constantly. I can't see any reason for the jam. There isn't a lot of paper stuck in it. Now it will only shred on the left side. I have to fold the papers before putting them into the shredder. I wish that I could get my money back.

This is pretty much everything I personally need it to be. It shreds several sheets of paper at once, it shreds cards, and it has a fairly large capacity but fits under my desk. My only complaint is that it sometimes stops shredding too abruptly and leaves a little behind, but I have not had any trouble getting to activate as some others have reported.



Overall, I think it performs very well and is a good price. Definitely an item worth owning with rampant identity theft, and I strongly suggest the cross or diamond cut over an older "strips" model.

This machine works beautifully - and it really can shred a credit card - just be really careful about following the page limitations. It will get stopped up and stuck if you try to put more than 8 pages into the feeder. Honestly, I wouldn't put in more than 6 thin sheets - fewer if it's thick paper. - Aurora - Shredder - Good Product - Paper Shredder'
