Sony T Series DSC-T99/B 14.1 Megapixel DSC Camera with Super HAD CCD Image Sensor (Black)

3" Clear Photo LCD Plus Touch Screen

4x Optical Zoom / 4 X Digital Zoom

HD MP4 Movie Mode

Memory Stick Duo, SD/SDHC/SDXC Media (185, 3.6v)

This review is from: Sony T Series DSC-T99/B 14.1 Megapixel DSC Camera with Super HAD CCD Image Sensor (Black)Just bought this after being a Canon guy for years. I bought it more for it's size and lens retraction (or lack there of) versus picture quality since it's purely a point and shoot camera. I need to get a DSLR at some point...I had a Canon SD940IS but returned it after I saw this camera coming out. Initial picture quality is a little better on the Canon, but the HD video on the T99 is better, and with better sound quality too. I haven't been into all the manual modes yet on the T99, so I may be able to tweek and improve on the picture quality. The menu on th T99 takes a little getting used to as the Canon menus are all very simple. Startup time is very fast in auto mode, less than 3 seconds from opening the lens to taking the first picture.Touchscreen is clear and responsive and icons are big enough for even larger fingers. I plan on getting a touchscreen protector to help with scratches and fingerprints.Overall appearance of the camera is very slick. If you want something compact, quick and sexy, this is a good start.

This review is from: Sony T Series DSC-T99/B 14.1 Megapixel DSC Camera with Super HAD CCD Image Sensor (Black)Just acquired this camera barely a month and am loving it. The few times I've used it has been no problem for me. This product beats the quality of my other previous Sony cybershots at the $400 range for its price along the $200's. Although am still getting used to its features and functions, at this point, the instructions have been so user friendly. Things I like best with this camera are its lighweight compact size, blinkproof feature, high ISO capability, fast shooting speed (no more of that problem I had to deal with my other expensive Sony cybershot where even after you have clicked the shot button, if your subject moves, it blurs the final shot, each time, I had to let my subjects hold still for a few more seconds even after the camera's been clicked,..this camera does not have this problem, thank goodness..once you focus and shoot..you're safe your final picture outcome will be okay especially if you have an impatient subject.) I was also excited to discover its variable picture frame/paint styles in the menu for postcard-type perhaps to be sent to friends and family.. the only disappointment so far with this one, is being an advanced technology camera, it is unable to playback videos even from an old pro duo memory card recorded from another older cybershot..you'd think that it can playback older models being more advanced like still being able to play a regular DVD in a blueray disc player, but not with this one..definitely, its playback has no problems if recorded of course with this camera (a Sony Rep has already explained to me about this camera's inability to playback a downgrade video memory), the panoramic shooting capability is also awesome. For its price and purpose especially for the upcoming Holiday with all the picture taking involved, this camera, is one great model to buy and keep...I'd greatly recommend to other interested techno phobics like me.

This review is from: Sony T Series DSC-T99/B 14.1 Megapixel DSC Camera with Super HAD CCD Image Sensor (Black)I was waiting for some time now for this piece of wonder...does the justice to all the hype that is created around the camera. Still pictures are clear and crisp...no color disorientation. Video is the best i have seen across in a point and shoot camera till now. Has a very good menu navigation. the operations system is pretty cool too - can switch to an easy view for people who do not like all the complications and can switch back to regular mode for more settings. very light weighted, small - smaller than my Nokia N900 :) Touchscreen is ok..does its job.low light pictures are cool too. Im happy I bought this !!!

Shake 'n' Wake Alarm Clock

Silent vibrating alarm clock won't disturb others

Lightweight and Comfortable - Includes a wrist band or belt clip.

Large LCD screen

One touch backlight allows for easy time telling

Vibrating or sound alarm selectable

This review is from: Shake \'n\' Wake Alarm Clocki got it because i'm the first one to get up in the morning and don't want to wake up my husband or baby at 5 am with a loud alarm. since my baby was born 2 yrs ago, i used to wake up like i0 times at night to look at the clock waiting for 5am so i wouldn't be late for work... this watch changed everything. now i can sleep all night knowing that i will not be late.it's a bit large, but i wear it in my left hand and after a couple of minutes i don't even notice it. it vibrates strong enough with a light sound like your phone when it vibrates...more than enough to wake me up and only me.yes i do recommend it, it's cheap and works great. i feel 5 yrs younger now that i can sleep all night!...

This review is from: Shake \'n\' Wake Alarm ClockThe reason why I got this alarm clock was because I needed a way to be able to wake up with ear plugs in. I have to wear ear plugs because my roommate snores like a California Bear in hibernation...he's an old guy. So I went to Amazon and bought the alarm clock in question. It finally arrived 2 weeks later which isn't amazons' fault it's just that I'm in Iraq. Either way here is my review:(1) The clock portion and the wristband portion are not attached...its simply clips on. The first night I used it I woke up and if had fell off of the armband. To mitigate this I got some 5`50 cord and strapped it down.(2) The alarm has two modes...vibrate and a traditional alarm sound...most of you are only interested in the vibrate mode. The vibrating alarm will wake you up but I would ensure you have a second alarm clock as a backup. For me I have been using an `alarm sound` for most of my life and my body knows it's time to get up when it hears the loud noise. The vibration does wake me up it's just so easy to roll over. NEVER USE THIS WHEN DRINKING THE NIGHT BEFORE....there's no way you'll wake up. FINAL RECOMMENDATION:For deployed troops, ensure you have a backup alarm clock, get some 5`50 cord, and this alarm will work. But you shouldn't have to do all of that...so this product gets a 2.BrYcE...

This review is from: Shake \'n\' Wake Alarm ClockThis thing is so HUGE ... if you use it on your wrist and your are a stomach sleeper you would not be able to place your arm under the pillow comfortably. I do not know why it had to be so BIG - just get a small vibrating alarm watch....
