This results in falsely getting at least 30 to 100 picture emails per day that it has detected motion(I have set this up so it could notify me via email).3- at least every couple of days it just freezes so I have to reboot the system -- which not only it should not be necessary, but also what if it froze and then I had a break-in? After all I had purchased this for security monitoring!!4- the resolution is very poor but viewable.5- There are more things that I didn't care for, and I could go on, but I think these were the main ones for me.Now, I would have preferred to give this thing a rating greater than 1 but I really couldn't.

The biggest issue is that there is no way to specify Daylight Savings Time, so for most of us in the US, you will have to go into settings twice a year and change to the correct time else all email, monitoring photographs and logs will show incorrect timing. The second issue is that none of their manuals state what the default ip is. It is actually set to dhcp, but there is no way to figure that out upfront. Also, that bright orange light which indicates when the camera is being accessed is, for most folks, an undesirable feature.Other than that, (while I haven't tested all features yet) the camera seems to deliver as promised.

Also, no where in the purchase process did I see a router was required. I have had a "computer whiz" trying to get it on-line and we still do not have it accomplished. It needs to be designed with simple users in mind.
