Basic photos of family and friends or for a teenager. Its pretty sturdy, mine is for the beach, camping, etc. and its lightweight. The settings are a bit difficult to use at times as they don't always provide good lighting in the situations the setting is intended for, ie the night photo setting sometimes creates an overly bright flash that blinds your photo. It's important to white balance this camera for sure. Overall its durable, takes decent photos, and is reliable.
