This review is from: Samsung L210 10.1MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Silver)Haven't learned all the options yet but for now I just put it in the AUTO mode. Even only using this option pictures are clear and well focused. The only problem is it takes forever for the picture to actually flash. Rather slow so there are missed action shots.
This review is from: Samsung L210 10.1MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Silver)This camera is a gem.I own 5 digital cameras and the Samsung L210 is perfect for those times you don't want to carry around a large SLR or medium size super zoom. Just put it in your pocket and go.The image quality is excellent and there is very little noise at low to medium iso. I don't think this camera will let you take a bad shot.I'm amazed at the features Samsung has packed into this small, quality built camera. You just can't do better for the price.
This review is from: Samsung L210 10.1MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Silver)I bought this camera in September 2008. I really tried to like this camera. I purchased this specific camera because it was ranked very highly by consumer reports. However, I've had many problems with it. As one other reviewer pointed out, there is a significant lag time after you press the capture button. It's even longer if you are in automatically detect and correct red-eye mode, which is the automatic default mode when you turn on your camera (the lag time when in this mode is approximately a full 3 seconds, my husband and I timed it, and then another full 3 seconds before you can take another picture). It's a long lag time if you are in dual image stabilization mode (2 seconds), which has never seemed to help stabilize my image, it just takes longer to take the image, also, you can't use the flash in dual image stabilization mode. Also, the digital zoom is a joke, the pictures come out so grainy it's not worth it. Also, sometimes it takes a long time to save the images and of course, if you don't realize it's still saving and turn off your camera then you lose that image, although part of it will be saved on the camera and so when you turn the camera back on and try to go to view your old images it will just freeze up when you try to look at the damaged file and you have to remove the battery to get it to turn off to restart it for it to be functional at all. That being said, when I have remembered to change the setting to automatic flash instead of autmatic red eye and the dual image stabilization is off and I'm not zoomed in so far as to activate the digital zoom, then it takes a very nice picture. It's just really quirky, you have to remember to do all these things, which to me, isn't worth it.
