Steam came out of the sides, and it wouldn't brew the normal amount of coffee..and it took a long time to brew.I purchased this replacement gasket and my espresso maker works like a dream now. I put two rubber pieces in it, with the metal part and it's fabulous now!!!...

I ordered this part for my husband who is serving in Iraq and it worked out great and shipping to him was fast and easy. He was so glad to have his espresso again!...
