It could fit in the palm of my hand. I was hoping it would have been a little bigger and more solid. It felt light and cheap. As for functionality it doesn't stay backlit. You have to push a button to turn the backlight on rendering it impossible to see what time it is in the middle of the night. Since I was planning to use it as my alarm clock on my nightstand, it wasn't going to work. I returned it the same day I got it....
