This review is from: Nostalgia Electrics HKP-200 Hollywood Kettle Popcorn MakerThe Hollywood Kettle Poporn Maker was at the top of my granddaughters Christmas list (she found it in a catalog). It came with measuring cups for the oil and popcorn so it was easy for her to use correctly. It worked great from the first time, even over flowing the kettle just like at the theater. The day after Christmas she had fun popping popcorn for most of the neighborhood....
This review is from: Nostalgia Electrics HKP-200 Hollywood Kettle Popcorn MakerWe have the Hollywood Kettle Popper- got it for Christmas from the grandparents to my 3-year old son. Finally tried to use it tonight. Followed all directions. it was on, plug was in, oil was hot. The only thing that this POS did was burn popcorn and make not even enough to cover the bottom of the drawer after 10 minutes. The kettle wasn't turning and the popcorn wasn't popping. This thing had to be the worst piece of junk my family has ever paid $100 for. And of course, because it is over 90 days, Target won't take it back. This product is a rip-off and my 3-year-old son went into hysterics when it didn't work the way it was advertised. There was no "hot popcorn BURSTING" through the top of the kettle. There were a few anemic pops, a few burnt kernels and a major letdown for a toddler. My in-laws bought this for us thinking it would be fun. The only thing it's good for is a paperweight. Back to the 20-year old air popper for us. Its never let me down yet....
