After they found it and could not fix it they sent it back to HPfor repairs (this was 3 weeks later) HP found the problem stemmed from the motherboard overheatingwhich overheated the processor which shorted out the whole PC (scary when you hear about laptop fires) Best Buy was kind enough to let me come to the store and pick out a new laptop of mychoice.
