I compare this to other similar types of grinders, krups, Cusinart, and find it does a better job, is quieter and does a very good job grinding. The settings work well, though the grind is not that of the more expensive ($100 and up) burr grinders, it is pretty uniform. The removable bowl makes cleaning easy, the cord storage is very nice. Like anything you have to experiment to get to your desired grind, but it doesn't take long. I recommend this inexpensive grinder. Well worth the money....
