This review is from: Quickcam Im PlusPoor video quality. That's the most important thing in a webcam (in my opinion) and since this sucks at that, I'm giving it only 1 star. Plus, it doesn't attach very securly to the top of my flat screen monitor. It just kinda sits there. Hate this webcam!!
This review is from: Quickcam Im PlusThe software was very quick and easy to install, it probably took no longer than 5 minutes. I was very disappointed in the quality of the video, however. It was so grainy and at first I thought that maybe my settings were off but everything was set at the highest resolution. I tried playing with every different setting because I thought that maybe the resolution was too high and my PC couldn't handle it? I have a brand new custom made PC that exceeds all the requirements for this software so I didn't think that was the problem, but I checked it anyway. That didn't solve the problem. I restarted my PC hoping that would solve the problem and it didn't. I uninstalled and reinstalled and that did not solve the problem either. Overally, I give this one star because although it is great that the installation is so quick, my goal was to be able to do video calls with a decent image quality and I would not have been able to do this with this camera. I ended up returning it and purchased the Logitech QuickCam Communicate MP and the image quality on that one is great!
