I orginally was going to stick with SONY digital cameras because I had a cybershot. It broke when I dropped it while the lens was out. I liked the SONY TX9 because of its weather/water proof feature but then I remembered SAMSUNG featured dualview. I compared the two & both basically had all the same features but I liked the SAMSUNG more! Then came the ordering. I thought I could buy the camera just off of the SAMSUNG website but couldn't. I was first hesitant with ordering this off Amazon but am happy I did! DELL.com wanted this digital camera for $100 more! This camera is awesome! I love how its touch screen & it is user friendly. The pictures taken so far are incredible! Believe me this is being said from a perfectionist. The color of this camera isn't pink but more purple.The LCD screen on the front looks invisible & appears when you press its own on button. This model is also better than the ST600 because it features an internal 5x optical zoom! :) I can't wait to try its HD video & take panoramic photos! Its internal memory stinks & my memory card hasn't arrived.I can't wait to capture my baby's 1st steps! I also purchased an extra battery BP70A, memory card, & camera case all from AMAZON! thanks for reading!
