This review is from: Teletype 330060 3.5-Inch Portable GPS NavigatorI use this GPS unit everyday in my truck,and so far it does everything it's supposed to do.I did notice one problem once, that at one destination, if I wasn't familliar with my stop, I would have missed a neccesary turn that It did not warn me about,but that only happened once,and I have had no other problems since.I think it was a overall good buy.If you buy this unit be sure to register it in order to get updates free for a limited time...
This review is from: Teletype 330060 3.5-Inch Portable GPS NavigatorMy husband drives a truck and forever gets turned around; since this item was designed for trucks I got one for him. He is admittedly technology challenged so he is very careful, however the unit is defective. The place you plug it in doesn't connect on the inside and the unit shuts down. if the plug in moves at all the unit shuts off. I have written to the Teletype people and they will not return my emails. We bought it here through Amazon from SKYBOX. Now he can't drive that truck and hold this unit perfectly still; no one appears to care that we now have a $350.00 paperweight! Apparently there is no warranty even though we registered the product (they never sent confirmation for that either. If you buy this you are on your own....

The people at Telotype acted like they could care less and said there was nothing to be done. All they wanted to do was sell me a more expensive one so I could here it. What a joke. I sent it back....
