It works across board with various messengers like Skype, Yahoo etc. I have read someone's post about the headset being "childlike" because they felt it couldn't reach their ears when they put it on, however, the strip connecting the 2 ear pieces needs to be worn behind your head and not on top. The mic goes to your left side.So it fits on the ears similar to that of a hands free headset that you may sometimes get with cell phones.The cam also has a built in mic which is awesome, so you don't necessarily need the headset to listen in to conversations.....My only negative feedback with this cam though was the fact that if you need to snap a photo...there is no option available in the AMP Cam menu....so If u need to snap photos you have to use the built in button located on the cam itself...Other than that...great product for the money....
