This review is from: RUKO 3-Inch Medium Grit Arkansas Whetstone Knife Sharpener with Leather PouchI'm a Scout Leader and I purchased a few of these to teach my scouts how to sharpen their knives and they work great. I had my scouts show up to a troop meeting with their pocket knives which of course where all very dull. I had them use these stones with some light-grade drilling oil. At first, I had them all try to cut some sheets of paper with their blades so they could see the difference after sharpening. Needless to say, they couldn't easily cut the paper without just tearing it. I showed them how to use the oil and good sharpening strokes. Within 30 minutes all their blades where very sharp and could easily cut the paper, they were impressed and learned a good lesson. I highly recommend these medium grit stones along with some drilling oil and you can get a blade very sharp....
