I like not having the display lit up at night, which another reviewing complained about. They do not always arrive with the perfect time, but the instructions are fairly easy to follow to correct that problem. They do automatically correct for Daylight Savings Time. They have been very reliable and the temperature readings have been accurate as far as I can tell....

They perform well, do the job, and for 10 bucks, I think they are a good deal. I've read the other reviews, but our experience with the 40001 alarm has been good--I've carried this with me on travel, and never missed an appointment. There are detailed instructions at the [...] website--with good batteries and the instructions these clocks do the job well....
