The zoom at the wide end is significantly wider than almost all other cameras of this class, and this is much more useful than having more at the telephoto end of the zoom. This is its most compelling feature as far as I am concerned.Picture quality good for the small receptor size. Battery life is exceptional. Could be the ideal pocket camera.
