This review is from: TRENDnet 300Mbps Wireless N ADSL 2/2+ Modem Router (TEW-658BRM)will it works good, just do not turn the power off or it resets to defaultbesides that seems to work good...

This review is from: TRENDnet 300Mbps Wireless N ADSL 2/2+ Modem Router (TEW-658BRM)I was hesitant to purchase this router since it is not supported by AT&T tech support. They charged me $50.00 for a ConnecTech support service- which was not very good in retrospect (didn't answer all my questions and is highly scripted from India). They have my money, but as a long term customer- not my respect. That said, TRENDnet tech support was excellent and helped me with the setup process. Their tech support is US based, and their people actually know how to make things work for their customers. I would strongly advise anyone purchasing this router to call TRENDnet tech support for assistance- and NOT AT&T. Nothing against people from India, but the ConnecTech support didn't seem to really know the equipment first hand. The router has increased my download and upload speeds considerably over the 2Wire router that AT&T supplies with their service. Unfortunately, the 2Wire routers do not last very long in my opinion- both died after a year or so of use (costing $100.00 to replace). A quick setup guide would be nice, as others have pointed out. I was a bit disappointed to see a $20.00 price drop on the item less than a month after I purchased it. At $29.99, the router is a steal! I would not recommend the router to someone who hates dealing with technology and/or tech support in general. I expect the durability to be good, since I've used TRENDnet products in the past (time will tell)....
