It's the ticking inside this clock that will drive you mad. First, I had it on the night stand. Then I had to move it to the opposite side of the room and could still hear it. Finally, I had to move it to outside the bedroom door. I felt like I was in a Poe novel and had done something horrible to deserve the incessant ticking in my ears. It looks nice but it was poorly designed....
