I have since learned that the blades on the knife sharpener can be removed and turned around with no need for replacement blades and at the low cost of the knife sharpener I will just replace the entire unit.Update July 28, 2010: You know that "junk" that's always in the bottom of every drawer in the kitchen? This is it! It'll still be there when I'm dead and gone and someday some sweet young thing will come along and solve the problem and just hold the drawer over the trash can. There, done and done - says the sweet young thing as she happily empties years of clutter and accumulation....
