This review is from: Connectland CL-CAM63003 USB 2.0,1.3M 2560x2048 Web Camera With Built-In MicrophoneI have hesitated to buy it since there was no reviews posted. But it only cost less than $17, I decided to give it try. The installation was nothing, just plug-in and it will play (my system is Windows XP), no software is needed though there is a CD in the package. I'm using Skype, once the cam was plugged in, Skype recognized it right away. The cam quality is good, and my family see me very clear with no lag (sounds match mouth) on the other end. Great buy and will buy again definitely!

This review is from: Connectland CL-CAM63003 USB 2.0,1.3M 2560x2048 Web Camera With Built-In MicrophoneWhere do I start... 1: The picture quality is mediocre. But I didn't expect too much from a $16 webcam. 2: Skype does recognize it. 3: The whole thing has a very "Made-in-the-Far-East" feel to it (if you know what I mean),right down to the laughably translated "user's manual". 4: The driver appears to be 32bit only. (Just use the driver Windows automatically installs for it) 5: After installing the driver, and realizing it was 32bit, I uninstalled it and tried to re-start my computer. It froze with a blank screen. Not Happy. After resetting it, it booted fine, though I have yet to see if any damage was done. 6: The microphone is adequate. 7: It has little rubber pads that help it grip your monitor. 8: The camera section rotates. If you need a cheap webcam, but don't want a driver with it, this should work fine.I DO NOT SUGGEST INSTALLING THE BOXED DRIVER. And, like I said before, Skype recognizes it.

This review is from: Connectland CL-CAM63003 USB 2.0,1.3M 2560x2048 Web Camera With Built-In Microphoneworks pretty good and easy to use for the price. Just load the software and plug it in to the usb slot, and your ready to go. This would be a very good starter camera to get one used to what they can do. Also it flexes to about any position. I like it.
