Now I know why movie stars wear sunglasses indoors.They should have put the kind of LEDs on it like outdoor surveillance cameras use.I struggled with the glare from this camera by trying to cover those lights with anything I could find. Finally I decided on a whim to try "masking" tape and that did the trick. It only reduced the light by 10% or so but the glare was gone and I could actually look into the camera.Just like with any digital camera you will drive yourself buggy trying to adjust the camera to use outside (or through a window). The simple solution is to buy a cheap pair of grey colored sunglasses, pop out a lens and put it over the camera lens.Except for the lights and the "flaky" focus nob this is a great little camera. For the distance that the USB cable will let you move it's a great flashlight too! :D
