The projection, which is the main reason I purchased it, was very hazy and unreadable. The back up battery did not serve a purpose, as the time reset when it was unplugged. Better off going with a different model....

I searched for quite some time and looked at several options. I chose this one because of the variety of sounds. I didn't really care much that it projected, but he loved that! I know people have complained about brightness and buttons, but he hasn't had a single problem with it. He thanks me all the time for this clock, so it was a great purchase for me to make....
