This review is from: ZyXEL X150N Wireless N Router 802.11nMy roommate and I share the cost of this router; we think the price is a steal.It came with a fairly large box but we found the router is actually pretty small, it has a simple, all glossy white surface with a while antenna on the back. It looks, actually, kinda cute.The color printed installation guide is easy to understand. We got it running like in 20 minutes or so. We put it next to the DSL modem which is on the second floor.My room is on first floor but I do get pretty good signal from the router. My netbook shows 4 - 5 bars signal strength. I can watch YouTube by connecting to it; my roommate likes to go to different social websites or chat with her boy friend for hours. I don't feel her online activities affect my web surfing, emailing, etc.Overall, we have a good experience with this little router. I would recommend it to my friends....

The Setup CD didn't work on my macbook pro, however I was able to set it up just find using the mac default controls without the cd. Works well, not the fastest router I have owned but it streams HD just fine. For the money, it has been worth every penny thus far and has a solid 2 year warranty. I am very pleased with this device. Do your research, this is backwards compatible also. Very important for the console gamers such as myself....
This review is from: ZyXEL X150N Wireless N Router 802.11nMy Zyxel G router was broken a few days ago after 4 years, it was a good router. I saw this N one was on sale, checked the reviews here, not so good but the price was just hard to be resisted($14.99). I just told myself, I had a Zyxel G router before, it was good, and this shouldn't be that bad. So I wrote down all my setup data from my backup router (D-link which disconnected every hour) and ordered this one ( not from Amazon). I received it in 2 days, amazing. I have a windows 7 computer, the setup was less than 5 minutes, no problem at all. All I needed to do was go to the ip address 192,168,1,1 and just followed the setup direction. Maybe I was just too good. After the connection, I downloaded the latest fireware, upgraded it. And that is it. I didn't even use the disc that came with the package or read the manual. I set it to stream the internet radio and went to dinner, came back after 3 hours and it was still running, so no disconnection after I left. I just want to point out that this is not a bad router at all, as long as you know what you are doing, no problem with windows 7 whatsoever. I just got it for 10 hours, I will update more if I find out any bad experience, but so far I am happy with it.A router is a router, you are really no need to pay more than $20 for a different one....
