However, this camera did NOT work for me. I don't mean it would work, I mean it was not even close to the standard I expected. The first few days I had it, I was shooting test shots all around my school campus and it worked like a dream. I was raving to everybody how amazing the camera was! Because it was, in fact, AMAZING! Then I went to actually use it at a dimly lit dinner and it took between 3-6 seconds to take a shot. 3-6 SECONDS! Anybody that knows ANYTHING about a camera knows that that is unacceptable. ESPECIALLY for a camera meant to be used for action. Granted, I don't know how many sports happen in the dark, but I wanted a versitile camera. Something I could take anywhere with me for anything. This camera was NOT that camera. Now before you think I just gave up and returned it...I took it to Ritz camera and there was nothing they could do, I gave it to my extremely electronic friendly boyfriend who can fix anything (that is his job actually, electronics) and he couldn't fix it. And I even gave it to my mom who has 4+ quality digital cameras and there was no improvement. The lag time was just insufferable and so I returned it. Something I slo didn't know what that lag time is something that can't be fixed. So that is now the first thing I look for. The company Big Value Inc. has been amazing and so I went through them again to get another camera, but as for this Olympus 6000, I would rate it a 4 out of 10. It didn't have the versatility I expected. It was pretty heavy as digital cameras go. And the zoom was puny. I would not reccomend this camera. Save your money for a waterproof camera case. Apparently they can do deeper and are safer anyway.
