I have had excellent experiences with refurbished Creative Labs products, so I felt no worries about purchasing this item. I use linux on my computers primarily, and this worked flawlessly from the get-go. No setup necessary. Set up the Skype program, set this as default webcam and microphone device and we were off and running. This has an excellent picture quality and voice is nice and clear. Sister-in-law has a built in webcam, and you can see the difference in the picture quality, as hers is shaky and fuzzy and our picture is clear. Windows does tend to require searching for drivers, but also works quite well. Overall, a great product at a great price. Very satisfied purchase!
