Not sure about the complaints in the other review, it has printed on the back an arrow. As long as you align that arrow to the one on the cup it locks fine. It also is more than sufficiently sized to accommodate enough beans to make a full pot of coffee. I drink mine strong too. For the price you can't beat it....

I only grind about 4-6 cups (2 large mugs) worth of beans a day, and more when I have company, so I do like the large capacity option.Fineness selector works great. I love that I can walk away while it grinds, I don't have to hold the button down. Only problem? The switch has popped off a few times, thankfully I have not lost it yet. IT seems to snap back on and be usable, so this is just an annoyance.I LOVE the measuring cup!!!! I was given another (cuisinart)coffee grinder for Christmas, it doesn't have measurement markers which drives me nuts.The cord storage is fabulous...it winds up inside easily and compactly.The only occasional frustration is that you do have to line the lid up perfectly and twist it on. IF it's not lined up, it doesn't secure and does not grind.I had another one of this exact type that had a faulty power switch, but this one has been going strong for me....

Love the cord storage, too.But this machine is SO LOUD I CAN'T HEAR MYSELF THINK!Two stars off just for that. And I'm taking it back.*I notice I'm the only person who has complained about the noise, so maybe I have a defective one.EDIT: Nope, it's really noisy. I exchanged it and the new one is almost as loud as my chainsaw. :) So this product is not for me....
