This review is from: Nostalgia Electrics HHP-100 Hollywood Hot Air Popcorn MakerBought this thing for my wife as a Christmas gift. It has a cool look to it, and the popcorn that it puts out is fluffy, we use the orville reddenwhatever kernels. The problem with the machine is that it only pops about 35 to 40% of the kernels you put in it. The rest become dangerous projectiles that shoot out of the machine and fly about the room like someone exploded a shrapnel grenade in the middle of your kitchen. Keep your kids from getting anywhere near this thing. Called customer service but did not get a response. Oh yeah, for what its worth, the battery cover for the marquis was also missing from the box....
This review is from: Nostalgia Electrics HHP-100 Hollywood Hot Air Popcorn MakerMy mother bought this as a gift for me. It is the cutest looking popcorn maker ever but it does nothing but make a lot of noise and pop maybe a handful of popcorn within 10 minutes. The rest of the seeds just burn, I tried 4 different brands of seeds. The company itself offers no assistance and refuse to send a new one. What a waste of money. My old $10 one from Big Lots lasted 5 years. This was useless right of the box. The company knows it too, that's why they won't take it back. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!...
This review is from: Nostalgia Electrics HHP-100 Hollywood Hot Air Popcorn MakerBought this for my friend for Christmas. She was so excited to start using. She prepared the machine as directed, melted her butter to add on top when done and had 15 minutes before her movie night started. She plugged the machine, which never popped any popcorn but did short circuit and shocked her when she unplugged the machine. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Not to mention it made me feel like I gave her a cheap gift....
