This review is from: Jay Turser Lt Series Jt-lt-rw Electric Guitar, RosewoodI received the Rosewood Tele about an hour ago and was shocked that the the Amazon overpack box didn't have any effort to secure the interior Jay Turser box. The JT box was just flopping around inside the overpack box and had come open during transit. The right tone knob was bent (I straightened it already) and the low E-string tuner got bumped and twisted. I like the guitar and am certain everything is fixable but really...come on make an effort....

This one is no exception. It looks very nice with no flaws that I can find.However, the fret ends needed some work, as many were pretty rough--not enough to scratch your fingers, but enough for uncomfortable playing. The neck pickup was pretty muddy, but the bridge pickjup had a good Tele-type 'spanky' sound to it. The neck was true, with a 12" radius and medium jumbo frets. It was a rather thin C-shape; good for some fast playing.Over all, a very nice guitar that sounded and played very well after some minor tweaking. I will replace the neck pickup and probably the tuning machines eventually, but they are serviceable.Be prepared to do some adjustments and perhaps some minor repairs on any imported, mail-order electric guitar that you receive. If you keep that in mind, you should be pleased with this instrument....
This review is from: Jay Turser Lt Series Jt-lt-rw Electric Guitar, RosewoodI Love the looks and the feel of the neck of the guitar.I did not plug it in yet but it came in a damaged box and deep straches on the back of the guitar. UPS said that they will notify that it was a damaged box when it was shipped to my house. I had to open it to see if it was. That is when I discovered the ugliness on the back of the guitar. I will not send it back but the guitar is not worth as much because of the damage on the back. Please let me know if I qualify for a reimursement, If you notify UPS they may also be liaible. Please let me know I have ordered a lot of things from you folks over the last couple of years....
