The battery life is great the MPEGs have good quality clear sound the macros can be amazing, its quick, and if you use a tripod you get amazing night pictures and you are only limited by the amount of memory that you can afford to buy. For its price you cannot find a better camera. If you cannot find it go with the Sony DSCP100 5.1.I recently moved to A DSLR but I still use my DSCP120.
