Sony SLT-A33L Translucent Mirror a33 DSLR Camera, with 18-55mm Zoom Lens. & Sony DT 55 - 200mm f/4-5

Translucent Mirror Technology: The SLT-A33 is the world's first DSLR with Translucent Mirror Technology that directs light to both the image sensor and the Phase Detection AF sensor simultaneously.

14.2 megapixel resolution: You get incredible detail and gorgeous enlargements. Thanks to the 14.2 megapixel APS-C sensor size and Sony Exmor APS HD CMOS technology, the camera achieves high resolution with no penalty in low-light sensitivity or sensor noise.

Full HD 1080/60i movies: This is one of the very few DSLRs with 1080/60i Full HD, exactly the same resolution and frame rate as most broadcast and cable HDTV channels.

Auto HDR built into camera: Captures more scene dynamic range than a single exposure can handle-and more range than photo film. Combines the best highlight detail from one shot, the best mid-tones from a second and the best shadow detail from a third for one incredible shot.

Eye-level finder for HD Movie: The eye-level finder is one of the reasons people love DSLRs. But that finder goes dark whenever you shoot HD Movies. Until now.

This review is from: Sony SLT-A33L Translucent Mirror a33 DSLR Camera, with 18-55mm Zoom Lens.

This review is from: Canon EOS Rebel T1i SLR Digital Camera Kit with 18-55mm Lens + SSE PRO Shooter Deluxe Carrying Case, Batteries, Lens, Flash & Tripod Complete Accessories PackageProduct was shipped fast, when I found a couple of items missing they too were shipped with a minimum of fuss and bother. Camera itself is just what I wanted and needed! Manual could be a bit clearer and straight forward. The bundle had everything I needed to get started!

This review is from: Canon EOS Rebel T1i SLR Digital Camera Kit with 18-55mm Lens + SSE PRO Shooter Deluxe Carrying Case, Batteries, Lens, Flash & Tripod Complete Accessories PackageProsThe phone has a great screen that has more vibrant colors than any phone I have seen (including iphone 4). The screen is the perfect size. I upgraded from an iphone 3g so the speed and multi-tasking is excellent. I would say this or the iphone 4 are the way to go if you are on att. if you want a no hassle phone the iphone is the best. If you want more options and flexibility at the expense of time to learn the system, I recommend the captivate. ConsThe only cons are that the phone has no flash, and the GPS functions intermittently. Supposedly this is a software issue that samsung plans to address in the upcoming weeks.

This review is from: Canon EOS Rebel T1i SLR Digital Camera Kit with 18-55mm Lens + SSE PRO Shooter Deluxe Carrying Case, Batteries, Lens, Flash & Tripod Complete Accessories PackageThe cellphone is excellent, the price is excellent and also all is very very good. I've do my first call with this unlocked phone from Dominican Republic and I confirm is all ready. My package include 1 Home Charger, 1 Car charger, USB cable. Thanks.

This review is from: Canon EOS Rebel T1i SLR Digital Camera Kit with 18-55mm Lens + SSE PRO Shooter Deluxe Carrying Case, Batteries, Lens, Flash & Tripod Complete Accessories PackageCALLS:Clear and concise, never dropped one. Speaker phone is loud enough to use and hear clearly with a lot of background noise, software allows you to quickly call back missed calls by just touching the dial button as if you were redailing the last person you called. MESSAGING:Excellent, no hic-cups, you can easily attach any pik, song, doc or video to a message by opening settings while viewing it and tapping message or attaching to a message. Works smoother than any other phone i've used.PICTURES: Camera takes excellent picture in good light my sisters 8mp shots weren't as clear, neither was my frinds??? Cut off the lights and the pictures go from excellent to horrible.VIDEOS: Actually HD quality and the sound is good. Detail is very sharp and my hard drive is filling with videos.AUDIO PLAYER:"DECIDING FACTOR FOR MY PURCHASE"5.1 Surround Sound is good through right headphones. I can drag my ITUNES and WMP playlist to it and enjoy. Can add downloaded music to playlist on the fly, can move music to it easily from any computer and anything I threw at it it played. Honestly is as good as a iPhone. OEM Headphones have excellent sound and stay in my ears while running. Recommend getting aftermarket earphones to take advantage of the sound the phone produces. I am hooked on Pandora and use my phone everyday to listen to music through my Bose setup, via wi-fi.INTERNET:One of the strong points of this phone, the n-adapter is fast. I always use the wi-fi when at home or friends house and no software forces me to use 3g like on some other phones. In other words this allows me to use all internet applications with wi-fi. All of my music purchases have been through the phone recently, and the web browser works on all sites. I rarely use my computer any more. You-Tube seams excellently on this device and the videos are clear and sharp, so are the videos on cnn and other news websites. Hint!! you must go to the full website and not mobile to truly experience the browser.APPS:Plenty of apps for everything and they are mostly free. Not quite a iphone but close and there is no feeling that you are being steered to spend at the andriod store.GPS:Works and will get you from a-z. I purchased a window mount and every since I have had virtually no loss of signal. ATT navigator gives better routes if you are willing to subscribe. Google maps is free and it shows a picture of the house or business you are driving to as you arrive but it chose some stupid routes for me when on long distance trips. If the GPS antenna was stronger this would make dash mounted GPS devices obsolete. I like being able to say gas sta...

Video Production - portable dvd case, dvd player carrying case

I just received this case and I am happy with the quality and it is as I expected it to be in that regard. I went with this one becasue you don't have to have it open like a tray table on the back of the seat, you can flip the top up and over and it lays flat against the seat, the other cases don't seem to do this.

My hope was that when I got it I could easily strap it to just one seat as opposed to between the two seats as the product is intended. I didn't want to have the dvd player in between the seats because I still need to reach the children durning long rides and this I feel would impede my ability to do that, besides I feel it is more comfortable to look at the dvd player right in front of you anyway. You can easily attach it to just the one seat although the velcro flap you need to need to wrap around the top anchor strap is a little bit of a pain to get in if you mount it in this fashion. I plan to get another case just for transporting the dvd players and I intend to keep these cases in the car all the time as it will be to much of a hassle to take the cases in and out of the car each time and far easier to remove the player and put it in another seperate case especially since I have two, one for each child. The main thing I like is the ability to fold the dvd player flat in the case so it will stay flush against the back of the seat and hopefully not get kicked as easily by the children when they are watching. So, so far so good hopefully it will work out well in the long run. But for those of you who like the look of this case and but didn't want a between the seats mounting, it can be mounted on the back of one seat easliy. Case Logic PDVK-10 7 to 10-Inch In-Car Portable DVD Player Case (Black)

I bought this for my mini van to use it with my Sony 8 inch DVD player. It fits the player nicely. There are two earphone jacks on the bottom for easy access. Great for storing your car charger and discs and there is enough room for even the ear phones.

Here is how it works: Basically you suspend a strap between the two head rests and attach the case with a velcro that loops over the strap. Simple and a little bit primitive. I have a Windstar with headrests that are just an extention of the seat and don't rest on a metal bar. It probably works better if you have the adjustable headrests in your car.

The good news is that you can just remove the case from the strap and leave the strap when you want to take it out of the car.

The player is attached to the case with one skimpy little strap as well. So far it has been holding out but I wish it looked a little bit more sturdy.

I purchased this case to go with our Sony DVP-FX930/W 9-Inch Portable DVD Player, both from this site. I am pretty happy with is so far. It fits nicely on the back of my seat, but I have a 2007 Corolla and when we tried to put it in the middle of the two seats, it was way too close to my son. He could have kicked it or played with it in that location (we place his carseat in the middle so that he can see out). So, we settled for placing it on the back of the passenger seat, and that worked out well. My only real complaint is that it was hard to open the dvd player to change the DVD without the compartment door, catching on the case. It wasn't a big deal, because I would just hold back the sides of the case when I went to change a DVD, but I still wanted to mention it. Overall, this was a good purchase and I would recommend it.

I recently purchased a Sony DVP-FX820 8 inch portable DVD Player and needed case for my van. The case works great just as advertised. It holds all of the cords and a couple of movies. I would buy it again.

Bought this for watching a Sony DVP-FX930/R 9-Inch Portable DVD Player, Red in the second row of our Honda Pilot.

The player fit nicely inside, though previous reviewers are correct - the design of the "security" strap probably doesn't work as well with this particular player as it does with others, since the strap does slip down in the crack between the swivel screen and the player body. But we found it was sufficiently stable if we 'snugged' the strap up as high as possible within the lower slots in the bag, and made sure it was tight.

Our kids never complained about it swaying back and forth, because we tightened the floor-mount straps and the suspension strap upon every install.

And the Grab 'n Go feature is a bit misleading. Sure, you just have to open the velcro strap at the top, disconnect the two floor straps, disconnect the headphones and DC adaptor cable, close the velcro strap, zip up the bag, and THEN go... And the hooks on the floor straps are unusually hard to open, so that slows things down, too.

One more thing: There's a decent amount of storage space in the bag, but don't plan on carrying more than 2 or 3 full-size DVD snapcases. We opted for a 'disc-only' wallet that housed 24 individual DVD's - and fit nicely into the bag, STILL with room for the cables and remote control.

So, did it work? Yes. Was it secure? Yes. Was it as easy as advertised? Not exactly... but I'd buy it again. - Portable Dvd Player Car Case - Portable Dvd Case - Dvd Player Carrying Case - Dvd Holders'

Cisco-Valet Plus Wireless Router

Networking Equipment Features: 128-bit Wireless Encryption, WEP Security, WPA2 Security

Computer Platform Compatibility: PC, Windows, Mac

LED Lights: Power

LAN Ports: 4

WAN Ports: 1

Wireless Standard: 802.11b/g/n

This review is from: Cisco-Valet Plus Wireless RouterBought the Valet Plus to replace a Linksys G router that occasionally lost signal and that did not offer reliable coverage throughout my (not very big) apartment. Connecting 2 computers went smoothly, and range was definitely improved. Connecting 3rd computer produced error message but seemed to work anyway - attempting to add wireless Canon printer to the network caused another error message and connection failed. Called Cisco Support and was told, basically, that they don't fix printer problems; I insisted that was nonsense, since the product is sold as a "no-brainer" wireless solution and they had to help make it work. During conversation with service rep, the printer suddenly did recognize the Valet Plus (or vice-versa) and started working. Next day, connected iPhone successfully but printing failed again. This time, Customer Support dug a little deeper and checked the settings on the router. Then they told me I had to get a better driver from Canon since the router will only work with printers enabled for WPA/WPA2 security. When I asked why that wasn't listed on the box or anywhere else as a technical requirement for the product, the person had no answer - kept repeating that Cisco used "advanced" technology. After that useless call, I tinkered with the printer LAN settings and tried getting it to accept WPA (rather than WPA2) as security protocol. I was able to print again, but don't have confidence the problem is solved for good. So I have to choose whether to send back the Valet Plus or keep it and hope it works, accepting that I may have difficulty and that Cisco Support is pretty much not supportive at all. Be warned that "plug and play" may not be your experience with this item.UPDATE: It seems that Cisco takes customer reactions pretty seriously. After posting this review and responding to a Cisco survey in the same vein, I got an email and phone call from a higher-up in the company's support area. He explained that Cisco has to be careful about offering technical advice about other company's products (there are liability issues) but agreed that I should not have been given that unequivocal, unhelpful answer. And the Valet Plus has been working well - haven't had to reset it or fiddle with AirPort settings on computers. Have printed successfully a couple of times, too, so hoping for the best....

This review is from: Cisco-Valet Plus Wireless RouterI had a very old Airport base station and was having trouble connecting my DirecTv wireless adapter to it. I figured it was time to upgrade. I did a lot of research online and was worried about not being able to set up a new router using my Mac. I bought this router with high hopes of a quick set up. I was not disappointed. I had 2 Macbooks, a Wii, my TiVo DVR and the DirecTv system all working within 15 minutes. So far signal is great throughout my three story home. The router is in the basement and my husband is on the third floor Skyping away. I highy recommend this for anyone that wants a quick and easy setup with little hassles!...

This review is from: Cisco-Valet Plus Wireless RouterThis is as close to plug and play as a wireless router gets. I was a little apprehensive about purchasing it because there are no product details outside the box. There is also no instruction manual inside but the USB key is prominently displayed. It simply instructs you to plug the USB key into the first computer. An onscreen guide walked me through the set up which consisted of plugging in a few cables. In less than five minutes the Cisco had set up a secure wireless network, a separate guest hotspot and sent me off to insert the USB key in any other computers I wished to connect to the network. This is the ideal device for the person who just wants their electronics to work and is not interested in details. It is possible to access the configuration screen from the Cisco software or via the IP address but you're paying for the convenience of never having to look under the hood.At the end of the process they reveal the name of your network and your password but there are no further instructions. I have not had a guest log on but I understand the process is similar to the login at a hotel. They actually have to open their internet browser and enter the password you provide on a welcome screen. A little more detail would have been nice. The Valet includes 24 hour live tech support which I consider a big plus. The router has various lighted symbols flashing but none of them are marked. I called to find out what they were and had live assistance in less than a minute. The woman was very pleasant but scolded me when I asked about what looks like a power button in the middle. I...

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP3 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0-Inch To

Touch-screen Operation

4x Optical Zoom / Up to 8.4x Extra Optical Zoom - Equipped with a 4x optical zoom lens (35mm camera equivalent - 35-140mm).

14.1-megapixel High-resolution CCD

Sonic Speed AF - maximum speed of approx. 0.33 second for auto focusing

Fast Start-up Time

This review is from: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP3 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0-Inch Touch-Screen LCD (Silver)I bought this camera because my Sony Cybershot did not perform too well in dark places (night clubs, bowling, at night etc). The Lumix is has a fantastic low light mode that takes incredible pictures. The other great features include a large and bright touch screen, great zoom, clean 14.1 MP photos, and easy to navigate menus. All this in a stylish compact design. If you are looking for a compact camera, you cannot go wrong with the Lumix DMC-FP3.

This review is from: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP3 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0-Inch Touch-Screen LCD (Silver)Ok first of all, this is not my primary camera, I have a DSLR and this one is just for parties and random events where a DSLR is just too big to carry around. That said, read this review keeping in mind it is not a top tier camera, it's a $150 point and shoot.Packaging: Even though the box wasn't sealed, the camera arrived perfectly new and with all accessories. I still think the box is a little small.Design: Everything in the front is neatly designed. Looks good, feels good. The back looks plain with the screen off, and I would've centered it a little and make a cross with the buttons. The camera powers on by sliding the lens cover. It is a really compact, nice looking camera. Mayor flaw in design is the "iA button" next to the shutter button, which will be accidentally pressed by almost anyone you lend the camera to. Screen: Crispy, bright screen, big enough to see the pictures and with very good definition. Touch functions work like a charm, but I would've invested a little more in the interface. It is very responsive and the camera comes with a function to focus where you touch, which I've found infinitely useful.Lens: Pretty good pictures so far. Lacks a function for changing focus in video, but nothing a $200 or less camera has anyway. Well protected most of the time, although I've found the cover to be sometimes too easy to open. Shutter speed is pretty good. Optical zoom is 4x, although the design they used for the CCD actually moves it to get a kind of 8.4x optical zoom. Macros look great.Pictures: You will definitely get awesome pictures with this camera, as long as you are comfortable with point and shoot cameras and not advanced photography gear. The yellows and oranges appear incredible, and the color accuracy is outstanding. If you are not a photographer you'll be more than happy with this camera. Battery: I would say it lasts for about 250 pictures with occasional use of the preview function. Charges fast.Video: It is a really good thing to have hd (1280x720) video recording. Drawback being the focal point stays at the same spot (no zoom in or zoom out function)Overall: I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone looking in this price tier. If you can go an extra 50 bucks, get a Canon SD (I have a 780 I bought a year ago and my sister has a 940, both are awesome powerful and stylish cameras).

This review is from: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP3 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0-Inch Touch-Screen LCD (Silver)I bought this camera for a vacation trip and found it very handy--fits in my pocket and starts by sliding the cover south. The pictures were very good on the whole. I ran into trouble by shooting into the light and I don't know if there's an override for the flash but so far haven't discovered that. The quality of the long shots is very good, less so for the closeups but still good. My larger Lumix takes better pictures and has more control, but for the convenience of this small camera it did its job. I would recommend this for anyone who is not a professional photographer.

Waterproof Digital Camera - underwater digital camera, waterproof camera

Just took the new camera on a white water rafting trip down the Grand Canyon. Clearly the camera met the specs for water tightness and shock ability as this type of trip had both. Pictures were of low quality, with little ability to handle a mix of shadows and light. Shutter is slow and unresponsive to the moment. In bright sunshine, or very low evening light, the lack of a view finder rendered most pictures a pure guess. Controls at the top of the camera for on/off and snapping the picture were too low a profile to allow for handling in tough situations. Worst of all was dismal battery life--only able to get about 100-125 pictures, while carefully turning the camera off in between, before battery was exhausted. Overall--very disappointing. Fujifilm FinePix XP10 12 MP Waterproof Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD (Green)

I got this camera to replace my previous underwater / shockproof Canon D10, which died after about 8 months for no apparent reason. When I got the D10, it was the only low-cost point-and-shoot I could find for light underwater use, which made it good in its own way, but the electronics and sensor and etc. were already a couple of years out of date on the Canon, plus it was really big and bulky.

I don't do serious underwater work, but do want a camera I can take out in the rain and occasionally in a swimming pool or to the beach, without worrying about it. Also with small kids, the likelihood of a camera getting dropped is high, so a sturdy model is key.

This little Fujifilm advertises the same kind of water- and shock-proof characteristics as the Canon, but it's a whole lot more modern in its features, and a whole lot smaller, which is great. I haven't used it underwater yet, but for everyday use it takes good pictures.

A few issues I have with it. One, the cable connector is nonstandard. It should be mini-USB, like so many other things - I keep a mini USB hanging off my computer anyway, and if I lose a mini USB cable it's easy to find another, vs. the Fuji cable which doesn't match anything else I own.

Second, the mechanicals are not quite as polished as I'd like. The waterproof cover for the cable connector doesn't seat well - it's very hard to get in. And the battery cover has a strange hinge device that was confusing to figure out and I fear will not last well, since I have to open it frequently to extract the memory card, because the cable connector is nonstandard and hard to reseal.

All in all I would still recommend this camera, and I hope these few flaws get corrected in a future model.

Took the Fuji XP10 out twice; once camping at Lake Tahoe and again at Kern River. The Fuji functioned well on the first outting, but started developing problems on the latter camping trip: moisture started developing in the lens area, causing photos to appear foggy. The display became disrupted, as the moisture that permeated the camera began to make it's way through the housing.

I sent the Fuji XP10 back to Fuji in hopes of getting it replaced, but received an invoice stating, "Water damage in camera not covered under warranty."

Um, no kidding.

The invoice also requested a payment of approximately $118 for an exchange of the same camera, with $100 of the cost going towards "labor"... Labor for what?!?! That's like buying a new XP10 with a little over a $20 discount over what I paid originally!

What's the point of marketing a "waterproof" camera, when it's not really waterproof and Fuji won't even honor the warranty to make things right? It would serve Fuji well to learn from other companies that unconditionally back the products that they sell, like Pelican Products and Strider Knives. Don't claim your product is waterproof, freezeproof, dustproof, and shockproof, unless you can back your product under warranty. I'm going to pass on Fuji's offer to exchange my camera for the $118 fee, which I can use towards an Olympus Tough camera! ;-)

As clean and compact as the Fuji XP10 appears, I will suggest to potential buyers of this camera to spend the extra money for the Olympus Tough series, which I am now considering. The Olympus Tough series may not be aesthetically pleasing as the Fuji XP10, but, like the AK-47 and Glock, the Olympus will probably work.

Buy the Fuji XP10 at your own risk.

I bought this camera for the waterproof feature, for beach and snorkeling photos. I took it to the beach and within 30 minutes it broke. The camera was never more than 2 feet underwater and it never hit anything. Water began leaking in the back display screen and the camera stopped functioning. Water also got in the front lens area and battery. Fortunately I was able to get the photos I had taken off the memory card.

Picture quality was really nice and the display screen size is large for easy viewing. But if you plan on taking it in the water I suggest buying a different camera. - Waterproof Camera - Digital Camera - Underwater Digital Camera - Weatherproof'
