There is no Software, just plug and PLAY. For snap shots use "My Computer" then click* web cam. For Video you need "Microsoft Movie Maker." Most people have this on their PC. -- I do wish "HOOTOO" (name of cam Co.) , told me this info./ Had to figure it out for myself. "jerks" Any way the picture is really decent and the voice isn't bad either. For $14 you have a good web cam for tele-comferencing or what ever you like to do with it ^ So, far at two weeks owned I am happy with this purchase..Don't spend BIG BUCKS unless your a fanatic ! Good BUY.
