This review is from: Logitech 2 MP Portable Webcam C905 / QuickCam Pro for Notebooks Factory Refurbished with 2 Year WarrantyI needed to upgrade my old Logitech Pro 4000 web cam (managed to crush mine packing for a move - it wasn't easy but I have "skills!").I did a fair amount of research and decided the C905 was what I wanted and then went looking for a deal and found the refurbished unit on Amazon and with a 2 year Logitech warrenty I didn't see how I could go wrong. I ordered it and it arrived in less than a week.Set-up was no more complicated than plugging it in and installing the drivers (I don't use the video software, etc. - just the drivers). The camera is EXCELLENT! I'm using it as a desktop model on the included stand next to a 28" monitor because I didn't want it higher than the top of my head. Low light conditions are not a problem and the auto focus and zoom features are top notch. But it's the Carl Zies lens than really sets this apart from other web cams I've used. The sharpness and clarity of the the images it captures (including accurate colors) make it great for video conferencing, video e-mail, presentations, etc.I was so impressed that I have purchased a second camera for a second location.The only "CON" I have encountered so far is that I wish that the stand were a little more "substantial." The base could be a little heavier and the two plastic rods that elevate the camera go together well but are a little flimsy. However, I do like the fact that they are hollow in the back to hold the camera cable out of sight - it's a nice feature and reduces desktop "clutter."The Bottem Line is that this is a great camera and has performed flawlessly for me. And the fact that it is a refurbished unit is a non-issue because of the 2 year Logitech warrenty.

The camera built into my Toshiba notebook simply could not operate in such low light and kept shutting down, even with added lighting. This new camera picks up a great image, even with no added lights. Microphone pickup is excellent. I could not ask for better for my Skype purposes.This camera is quite small despite appearing larger (to me) in the Amazon listing. Great device.I bought the refurbished model and it is every bit as good as new. The merchant shipped it very promptly and the only hitch in the entire process was Amazon's insane shipping policy. No fault of the merchant.

If you do not have a built-in camera for Skype or Logictech Vid-HD or any other WebCam service provider, this is an excellent choice. It has auto-focus and actually tracks (follows) you as you move. The lens provides a crystal clear image as well. I would not give it 5 stars or title this review with the word "excellent" if it didn't. It is small too so if you travel it is easy to take with you wherever you go.
