This review is from: SOG SH-02 Countertop SharpenerOnly sharpener I've ever been able to produce a razor edge using, although I admit to being a novice at best at this procedure. Doubt you could use this at all on a serrated edge, but on plain edges you can achieve outstanding sharpness with just a few pulls through the guides. Now my son wants one. Definitely recommend, and Amazon had the best price on the net, as usual....

Both were made razor sharp easily taking hair down to the skin with just a few strokes through this sharpener. This is amazing. Never before have I beeen able to get a knife this sharp without a stone. I am blown away. This sharpener is a game changer. For fifteen bucks it cannot be beat. I most likely will not use my other shapening stones too much anymore. Truly an amazing piece. Thanks SOG!...

This sharpener works excellent on my curved blade. The blade comes as sharp as my expensive motorized sharpener can get my straight blades. In fact, I have stopped using my other sharpener and am using this one instead since it's more convenient....
