This review is from: Logitech QuickCam Fusion 1.3MP Web CameraI've been using Skype on a regular basis to communicate with my girlfriend in Australia and for a while there, the built in webcam on my HP DV9000 laptop was doing great. Then it went south. Not having or wanting to spend a great deal on a webcam, I purchased the Logitech QuickCam Fusion 1.3 but it was back ordered meaning I was going to have to sustitute or go without for a few weeks. I went with a cheap $25 substitute that I bought at a electronics shop and it worked great. Finally my Logitech came in and I started using it- and though it did have a wider view than my cheapy, the picture quality was not better. So much so that my girlfriend asked me to stop using it and go back to my cheapy which had a better picture quality and I have been using it ever since. I gave the Logitech away.. My suggestion, try webcams out first or read a lot of reviews. But a few dollars more does not always mean better.
