I love being able to go backwards and forwards for each hour or minute function. The three backlight levels are terrific. The power cord is detachable, which tells me it will run fine on batteries, but have not done that yet. The sound of the radio is great, but what do you expect from a Sony! The only down side to this clock radio is that the radio only plays for 30 minutes. I guess I will have to set Alarm B as well!...

It finally died. I purchased this to replace it and believe me I loved that radio. This radio has almost taken its place. I use it on AC at home but it works just as well on DC. The sound quality is great and it has many features that are easy to find. Plus I like the small size, it fits almost anywhere. It is easy to see in a dark room. It is a great buy!...

It is small, runs on AC or batteries, and along with the radio, has 3 different chime type alarms. You can set the snooze from 10 to 60 min, it has a nap timer to wake you up at intervals up to 2 hours, and a sleep timer for up to 90 min if you want to fall asleep with the radio on. I find the radio sounds a bit tinny, but not surprising for the size, it does sound clear though. Also adjustable backlight setting is nice and the Daylight time setting makes a lot of sense....
